Originally from Brazil, Luz moved to Milan three years ago to start a new chapter in his career. His sound reflects this journey, moving between Brazilian funk, club music and left-field electronic selections, always with a strong focus on rhythm, groove and dancefloor energy.
Currently a resident DJ with the Fervo/Fluxo collective in Italy, Luz has also been active for years with SSKN in São Paulo. Alongside his work with the collective, he runs his own project, DJ Luz & Friends, creating spaces for musical exchange and bringing together different sounds, artists and perspectives. Driven by a passion for unearthing overlooked tracks and unexpected connections, Luz has performed at renowned clubs and underground events in Brazil, while also making appearances at some of Milan’s most relevant events and contributing to the city’s evolving club scene. Blending his Brazilian roots with the energy of Milan, Luz brings a playful and eclectic approach to the dancefloor, moving freely between different club traditions while maintaining a distinctive identity. A cura di Gurbaaz Singh.
